Welcome to the official website of the Franklin County High School Band Program, located in Rocky Mount, Virginia.

Our mission as a band program is to develop life skills through the medium of music education.  We believe it is important to develop life long music learners and great human beings through hard work, commitment, dedication, and excellence in music.

MISSION STATEMENT

We, the Franklin County Band, build our family on the respect of one another in taking accountability for our actions.  We believe in self-development and selflessness in order to refine the band program to the best of our ability.  We strive to inspire young musicians to devote themselves to becoming mature individuals.  Through perseverance and flexibility, we will overcome challenge and change in creative ways that make our band program unique.  We strive for excellence in all that we do while maintaining discipline with our sense of spirit and pride.
